Parker, 22, was 11-8 with a 3.79 ERA, 55 walks, 112 strikeouts in 26 games for the farm club. The Indiana native was selected ninth overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2007 draft. The team also designated infielder Tommy Manzella for assignment. Manzella has 90 career major league games under his belt, all with the Houston Astros.
